SPECIAL HEALTH NOTICE!!

Dear Box Hill South Homeowner:

The drought has brought special health concerns to the forefront:

West Nile Virus: Both Harford County and the state of Maryland are asking all homeowners to make sure that there is no standing water in their yards. Standing water is an attraction for mosquitoes to breed.

Dog Feces: This office continues to receive complaints about dog feces not being removed from the common areas and private yards. Pleas pick up after your dog. This includes the common area and your own private lawns.

Rats: The deadly combination of water and food (in the form of dog feces) is a haven for rats. Harford County has notified us that rats are coming up from the sewers and storn drains (because of the drought) in search of food and water. Dog feces is a primary food source.

During this extreme drought, please use extreme caution in keeping the common area and your yard clean.

Please pitch in and do your part as a homeowner. One person can make a difference!! Thank you for your cooperation in advance - and a special 'Thank You' to all the homeowners that already do their part in helping to keep Box Hill South a healthy and clean community.
