Minutes
The minutes of the July 21, 2004 meeting were reviewed and approved.
Treasurer's Report
There was no Treasurer's report due to Sally being out of the country.
Manager's Report
Correspondence-
Parking -Sallie received an e-mail from a resident in Raccoon Court that they were having problems parking because homeowners were parking along the "Fire Lane" curb. Sallie had referred the e-mail to the board and they discussed the fact that this was reviewed a few years ago and it was decided not to have the fire department come into the community and mark all the fire lanes. If it were done for one street - it would have to be done to all the streets. Sue Perouty, the President of the board, e-mailed the owner and explained the situation but offered to have TPSI write the owners and ask them not to park by the curb. The owners e-mailed Sue back and said they did not want to disturb the neighbors and did not want TPSI to write any letters and that they would handle it themselves.
Rob suggested that we ask the Rick Drury what our options are regarding this matter. Sallie to call him and have him research the issue. Rob also suggested that the association post signs at all streets, if cars are parked in violation of the signs then they should be towed. The Harford County rules should also be investigated regarding towing. Question to Mr. Drury - do we have to wait 24/48 hours or can we tow immediately. Rob suggested that we find another towing company instead of Bel Air Towing because Bel Air Towing would only take a fax from the management office. Sallie to investigate.
BB Hoop on HRT - Sallie instructed to write 2nd letter and give them 10 days or we will remove it if they do not repair it.
3231 AHC - deck has dog poop on it and rotten wood underneath it. Sallie instructed to write letter to homeowners and give them 10 days as the 1st letter did not give them a time deadline.
Rules & Regs
The board will review the letters of approval that were sent out to homeowners during the last month.
Old Business
Sallie forgot to call Rhonda Biskut and find out if she would be interested in being on board since Randy resigned his position.
New Business
Sue handed out a draft of her President's letter that will go in the next newsletter. After careful review, the board suggested that she end the message on a positive note rather than on a negative one. Sue to revise.
The meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
