Rob Furlong called the meeting to order at 7:20 PM.
Present: Rob Furlong, Tom Pearson, Sue Perouty, and Sallie W. Foster, with TPSI.
Absent: John Munno, Pat Rogers, Mike Wooten, and Elizabeth Ewen
A quorum was not present, therefore, no decisions were made. The board did discuss the following:
1. Insurance claims made against the association. Recently, a resident filed a claim for a slip and fall during the icy weather. Sallie filled out the claim and sent it into the insurance company. The board discussed the responsibilities the owners had to "using caution when icy conditions existed". Sallie to draft resolution making it the owner's responsibility to shovel the walkways in front of their homes during snow and ice. This is also Harford County code. Sallie to have ready for next meeting.
2. Tree removal at 3126 Laurel View Drive - received a request and quote from Twin Oaks Tree Experts to remove tree because it supposedly was dying from root rot. Sallie inspected and said the tree was quite alive. No action will be taken to remove the tree.
3. Sallie received the invoice for the insurance policy - did the board still want to pay the entire amount and thereby eliminate the $5 service charge every month. The board felt that if there was enough money in the checking account then the entire amount should be paid.
4. Rob will set up another meeting with Ivy Hill regarding the landscaping of the entrance at Hidden Ridge Terrace.
5. The delinquent accounts were also discussed at great length. The board wants Sallie to put together a list of "Do's" and "Don'ts" that they board has the option of utilizing. Sallie to have ready for next meeting.
6. Sallie to get prices from Benhoff for repaving of Stone Eagle Court for next meeting.
7. Sallie to get prices of bringing up courts to county standards for next meeting.
8. Sallie to try and get information from Box Hill North for next meeting.
9. CD that matured 2/20/01 was renewed at 12-months for a 5.55/5.70 CD. It will mature 2/02.
10. May 7th is not looking like a good date for the Semi-Annual meeting. Rob Furlong will not be able to make the meeting and Sallie will be in court all day. Perhaps another date would be advisable. Board to discuss at next meeting.
